TSUKINEKO INK IS MADE IN JAPAN FOR ARTISTS
WHO NEED THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF INK. Due to
its blendability, washability and versatility, this QUICK-
DRYING craft ink has become indispensable for
fabric artists and landscape quilters. Because it’s
water-based and non-toxic, TSUKINEKO ALL
PURPOSE INK is fun for artists of all ages. It can be
used on wood, paper, leather and other porous
surfaces.
TSUKINEKO ALL PURPOSE INK must be heat set on
fabric for permanence. Heat set between colour
applications can prevent bleeding. Or layer colours
to achieve blended “watercolour” effect.

Shaving Cream Tooth Picks Popsicle sticks or stir sticks
Tsukineko Ink Fabric: PFD or prewashed fabric
“Squeegee”… like an old credit card
On a plastic work surface, you can premix a little ink with shaving cream to create
back ground colour, then spread the shaving cream over the area (maybe start with
a 6” square to get the feel of it) sprinkle on dots of ink and swirl with toothpick or
comb. Place 6” square of fabric on top. Press on the shaving cream. Turn the
fabric over onto the work surface and “squeegee” off the excess shaving cream.
Heat set your fabric.

2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
4 drops of Tsukineko ink for light (8 drops for medium, more for dark.)
